Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

(New Living Translation)

For everything there is a season,

A time for every activity under heaven.

A time to be born and a time to die.

A time to plant and a time to harvest.

A time to kill and a time to heal.

A time to tear down and a time to build up

.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.

A time to grieve and a time to dance.

A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.

A time to embrace and a time to turn away

.
A time to search and a time to quit searching

.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.

A time to tear and a time to mend.

A time to be quiet and a time to speak

.
A time to love and a time to hate

.
A time for war and a time for peace.

It was a quiet way

by Emily Dickinson

It was a quiet way—

He asked if I was his—

I made no answer of the Tongue

But answer of the Eyes—

And then He bore me on

Before this mortal noise

With swiftness, as of Chariots

And distance, as of Wheels.

This World did drop away

As Acres from the feet

Of one that leaneth from Balloon

Upon an Ether street.

The Gulf behind was not,

The Continents were new—

Eternity it was before

Eternity was due.

No Seasons were to us—

It was not Night nor Morn—

But Sunrise stopped upon the place

And fastened it in Dawn.

Hi Jeanne,

Archangel Haniel’s Message For You Today:

“I hear every time you ask for help and I respond. Remember that the help that comes might not be what you asked for but the help always comes in the form that’s for your highest good. You may feel you need something specific in order to achieve happiness but I ask you to have faith that you are always given what you need. If you feel lack right now, try to embrace what is available to you. What is meant to be yours is always there for you, just like I am.”

Your Angel Number For Today:

7 – Today’s number supports you as you continue on your path of spiritual development. Your spiritual wisdom grows when you begin to see that you are always cared for by the divine. Having trust in how your life is unfolding allows you to embrace the mystery of your faith.

Action Steps:
Write down what you ask your guardian angel for each day. Go back over your writings and notice what you’ve received in response to your requests. You’ll see a pattern of things always working out in the best possible way for you.

Affirmation Of The Day:

“As I ask my guardian angel for help in more ways than one, I release my idea of how it should be done.”

God, do You want me to sing today?

“God,do You want me to sing today?”

Answer: “Walk in grace.”
See last line of Joseph Stroud’s poem:

And so I prepare to sing at Communion.
Bring my virtual piano, my music arrangement.
Dress appropriately.
Arrive for choir practice.

Everything has been moved around.
No organ,
no accompaniment,
different seats,
choir facing the congregation,
prayers for Robin Williams,
sadness and grief….

I choke up.
Can’t breathe.
Can’t sing.
My walk in grace was not sound, but quiet.
“There is a time to sing, and a time to keep quiet.”

My Holy Spirit

I believe the Holy Spirit is a comforter, counselor, advocate, minister and spirit of truth.
John 14:15-18
14:26
15:26
16:5-16

I believe that even God can’t know himself without his Holy Spirit.
So why would we symbolize Him as a bird, and more specifically as a dove?

Doves are the sheep of the bird world: gentle followers;
Devoted to their mates, for life; nesting in beaks;
Docile in sacrifice, roaming freely in clouds;
Glimmering silver and gold against the peaks.

Devoted to their mates, for life; nesting in beaks;
Loyal nurturers to young and to weak;
The patient, proud parents we seek.

Docile in sacrifice, roaming freely in clouds;
Transporting, transforming, ne’er loud.
But swiftly swelling, quiet and proud.

Glimmering silver and gold against the peaks;
Dazzling light, prism’s plumage;
Other worldly, other person, other lover!

Things That make Me Happy

sunny window sill

Walking tall and walking free,
Seeing through and waiting ’til;
Hearing well and opening up,
Speaking true and Spirit’s will.

Seeing through and waiting ’til
All’s revealed beyond the sill:
Daylight’s brilliance cast at will.

Hearing well and opening up,
Truth be rattled: tea be read:
Secrets told; mysteries wed.

Speaking true and Spirit’s will
From within: be quiet “whim”!
In the light, illusions thin.
