to ask if I could
“come out to play” before
I vacuumed, dusted and did
the dishes, which glistened in
the sunlight, reflecting yesterday’s delights
and tomorrow’s promises rich with
tastes, aromas, sounds of comfort
and sharing and all I
do in public to serve
those loved before I play!
