this morning these ears appeared to me in the grass (like those above)

but different,

less oval,

more triangular,

a new-born in the Spring:

a furry, flexible, suckling, cooing babe.

After punishment, quiet grace and character

The Boast of Heraldry by John Stevens

calligrapher: John Stevens

!

“After God punishes me,

there is a quiet growth

in grace and character”

(Hebrews 12:11)

In Calligraphy

the character may be molded by the artist to be more subtle, dignified and flexible.

I am that character molded by the Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier!
