It’s taken me awhile to focus on what the Waldorf School wants for its students.
It doesn’t allow passive audiences.
Instead, fosters initiative.
Wants to develop collaboration
Respect and care for each other.

Yes, above shows how to use an iPad camera and filters,
but also how to watch each other, take turns and see and listen to each other.

I asked the 5 year old what days her 3 year old brother would be joining her at school.
She will attend 5 mornings; he, 2 mornings.
She answered, “maybe on soup day”.
On soup day, the children bring a fresh vegetable, and they cook a soup.The concoctions get mixed reviews.
We call this day “Friday”.
What is more important, to name and spell Friday or survive by making soup?
What are these Waldorf people teaching my grand children?
