Fishing for Poetry

SPLISHSPLASH

Fishing for Poetry

I rudder left,
The boat turns right;
Opposites x me in the bow,
Steady me in stern.

I cast on right,
The wind blows left;
Below the fish swims toward my lure,
Bites the weightless hook.

It is a grasp-less grasp-
a quicktime dance of sea.

    Oh my sweet Catherine! How great to use a prompt from one of my East Coast poet friends and then get this re-blog from my Canadian poet friend!
