— What a face! The combination of Oriental outfit, purple shirt, “loosey” hair, and bare feet says for sure, “I’m barely awake!” I like the playful rhyme, and the correspondence of “surly” and “GRRR”. Does the “am I” and rhythm have anything to do with “The King and I”?

Dear Therese “The King and I” surely. At Stage Works in Hudson in September, they’re giving a song writing workshop on the weekend of Sept 15 and 16th. I’m tempted! Jeanne
